Compatibility Notes:

  • 128GB LRDIMMs Supported with V4 processors and BIOS 2.1.5 and newer. This raises the maximum single processor compatibility to 1536GB and 3072GB in a dual processor configuration
  • LRDIMMs and RDIMMs cannot be mixed.
  • Quad Rank and Octo Rank LRDIMMs may be mixed
  • Memory will operate at the frequency of the lowest DIMM installed.
  • It is recommended to populate white release tabs with larger capacity sticks first if mixing capacities
  • More than two capacities may not be mixed. Eg. 4GB, 8GB, 16GB DIMMs all installed in the same system
